Carrot and sprouted green gram salad

Preparation time : 10 min


Ingredients :

  • Sprouted green gram - 1 bowl
  • Cucumber - 1 bowl (finely chopped)
  • Grated carrot - 1 bowl
  • Pomegranate - 1 bowl
  • Dry grapes - 1/2 small bowl 
  • Green chilies - 3
  • Oil - 1 sp
  • Mustard Seed - 1/4 sp
  • Urad dal - 1/2 sp
  • Curry leaves - 5
  • Coriander leaves - to garnish
  • Grated coconut - 1/2 bowl
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  • In a big mixing bowl add the sprouted green gram, Chopped cucumber, grated carrot, pomegranate, dry grapes, green chilies, coriander leaves and grated coconut. Mix them well.
  • For seasoning heat oil in pan, add mustard seeds followed by urad dal fry until light brown. Add curry leaves and turn off the flame.
  • Add seasoning and salt to the mixing bowl, mix well and serve.
