Sweet Chutney/Meetha

Preparation time : 10 min

Ingredients:


  • Tamarind pulp - 1 small bowl
  • Jaggery - 1 small bowl
  • Dates - 4-5
  • Black salt - 1/2 sp
  • Red chili powder - 1 sp
  • Salt - 1/2 sp
Method:

  • In a thick bottom pan allow jaggery to melt with little quantity of water.Once its done filter it to remove sand like particles.
  • Boil the filtered jaggery and sliced dates into it and continue to boil for few mins.
  • Add the tamarind pulp and boil fro few mins until they mix well.
  • Add black salt, salt and red chili powder.
  • Tastes well with samosa, and to prepare chats at home.
