Serves - 2
Ingredients:
- Rava/Semolina - 1 cup
- Onions - 2 medium
- Tomato - 1 finely chopped
- Carrot - 1 small
- Beans - 10
- Potato - 1 small
- Green peas - 1 small bowl (soaked overnight)
- Green chilies - 7
- Curry leaves - 10
- Mustard seed - 1/2 sp
- Cashews - 10
- Coriander leaves - to garnish
- Oil - 7 sp
- Salt to taste
- Coconut - 1 small bowl (grated)
- Ghee - 2 sp
Method:
- Dry fry Rava/Semolina till you get nice aroma of it. keep it aside.
- Boil 4 measure of water in a saucepan.
- Heat oil in a pan, Add mustard seed and allow them to pop well.
- Add cashews fry until light brown.
- Add Curry leaves and green chili fry.
- Add green peas, onion and fry until onions are transparent.
- Add finely chopped carrot, beans and potatoes cover lid and cook until vegetables are soft.
- Add sliced tomatoes and allow then to cook well. ( can also use lime juice).
- Add boiled water and salt to taste.
- Add rava/semolina with continues stir to avoid forming of lump.
- Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and grated coconut, serve hot with ghee.
