Hasi togari Kaalu Usli

Preparation time : 30 min

Ingredients:


  • Hasi togari kaalu - 1/2 kilo
  • Onions - 2 medium
  • Ginger - 1 inch
  • Garlic - 10 cloves
  • Green chili - 8 -10
  • Curry leaves -10
  • Oil - 4sp
  • Mustard seed - 1/2 sp
  • Grated coconut - 4 big sp
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves - to garnish
  • Salt to taste
Method :

  • Pressure cook Hasi thogari kaalu with required amount of water and 1/2 sp salt till 3 whistles.Let the pressure go.
  • prepare paste of green chilies, ginger and garlic.
  • Heat 4 sp oil in a pan.Add mustard seed and let them pop well.
  • Add curry leaves and finely chopped onions fry till onions are transparent.
  • Add the above prepared paste and fry well.
  • Add the cooked thogari kaalu and add salt if required.
  • Garnish with grated coconut and finely chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
