Ingredients:
- Hasi togari kaalu - 1/2 kilo
- Onions - 2 medium
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Garlic - 10 cloves
- Green chili - 8 -10
- Curry leaves -10
- Oil - 4sp
- Mustard seed - 1/2 sp
- Grated coconut - 4 big sp
- Finely chopped coriander leaves - to garnish
- Salt to taste
Method :
- Pressure cook Hasi thogari kaalu with required amount of water and 1/2 sp salt till 3 whistles.Let the pressure go.
- prepare paste of green chilies, ginger and garlic.
- Heat 4 sp oil in a pan.Add mustard seed and let them pop well.
- Add curry leaves and finely chopped onions fry till onions are transparent.
- Add the above prepared paste and fry well.
- Add the cooked thogari kaalu and add salt if required.
- Garnish with grated coconut and finely chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
