Carrot Salad

Preparation time: 15 min

Ingredients:

  • Carrot  - 2 
  • Onion - 1
  • Oil - 3 sp
  • Mustard seed - 1/2 sp
  • Urad dal - 1/2 sp
  • Channa dal - 1/2 sp
  • Green chilies - 5
  • Curry leaves - few
  • Coriander leaves - to Garnish.
  • Salt to taste 
Method:
  • Add the grated carrot in a mixing bowl.
  • Add the finely chopped onion, green chilies, Coriander leaves.
  • For seasoning, heat oil in a pan, add mustard seed allow them to pop well.Add urad dal, channa dal and fry until they are light brown. Add curry leaves. turn off the flame.
  • Add the seasoning to mixing bowl and also add salt to taste,mix well.
