Pudina/Mint Chutney

Preparation time : 15 mins

Ingredients:

  • Pudina/mint leaves - 1 small bowl or 1 bunch
  • Coconut - 1 small bowl (grated)
  • Hurigadale/Roasted gram - 1/2 small bowl
  • Green chilies - 6
  • Oil - 1 sp
  • Salt to taste
  • Tamarind - 1 pinch
Method:
  • Fry the cleaned Pudina/Mint leaves with few drops of oil, allow them to cool to room temperature.
  • Next fry green chilies fro few mins.
  • In a mixer jar, add grated coconut, fried mint leaves, green chilies, roasted gram, tamarind, salt to taste and grind with required amount of water.
  • Seasoning with few mustard seeds and curry leaves will add wonders to it(Optional)
  • You can even add bit of ginger or fresh coriander leaves (Optional)
