Paneer khatta meetha

Preparation Time: 30 mins
Serves: 2



Ingredients:

  • Paneer – 100 Gms
  • Onions - 2 medium
  • Tomato - 2 medium
  • Lemon - 1 medium
  • Red chili powder – 1tb sp
  • Garam masala – ½ tb sp
  • Sugar – 1-2 sp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 4sp
  • Ginger paste – 1sp
  • Garlic paste – 1sp
  • Coriander leaves chopped.

Method:


  • Heat 4 sp oil in a pan.
  • Add ½ sp jeera and add sliced onions sauté till its transparent.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and add tomatoes cook till its smooth.
  • Add red chili powder and garam masala
  • Bring a cup of water to boil and add diced paneer into it, leave it for 2 mins.Drain the water.
  • Add 1/1and a half spoon of sugar and cook for a min.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Add the hot and soft paneer and cook well.
  • Add lemon juice (4-5 sp) to it after turning the flame off.(lemon juice should not be cooked)
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
